Maintain Your Landscape

You should not make your yard or garden a cozy place for any visiting deer. In fact, you should avoid tempting them to create bedding of their own to rest at night or day. Ensure you trim planted plants to make them less appealing as resting or hiding places. You should note that deer prefer areas that provide quick cover. Therefore, eliminating the cover is likely to discourage them from spending most of their time in the yard.

Install Motion-Activated Sprinkler System

You can install underground sprinklers with time and motion-activated sprinklers to keep deer away from garden trees and beds. These sprinklers detect movement day or night and spray water. In this way, they startle animals with a sound and harmless water that scares them. Other than keeping deer off your yard, they will also chase away pesky critters.
