    Sharon Hackney and Charles Cross

This amazing duo has been entertaining together now for over 3 years. They have blended their individual talents to create performances loved by all kinds of audiences.

The Main Street Crossties have stared in four shows with singing, dancing, and skits. These shows incorporated all kinds of talents that constantly bring the audiences to their feet. With the help of cast and crew their shows have included everything from using a real Harley Davidson motorcycle to convincing the audience that Charles Cross had been arrested during the show. Sharon and Charles have had a packed house at every performance.

Sharon Hackney: The female half of this twosome had her beginnings in country music. Her renditions of Patsy Cline songs are widely requested by her audiences. She has performed in Nashville, TN and in many North Carolina venues. Country is not Hackney's only forte, however. She sings a powerful "Me and Bobby Magee" as well. Perhaps it is her ability to sing such a wide range of songs from classic oldies to  today's hits, from country to rock, which makes her such a success.

Charles Cross: Charles began singing in church as a child. He moved on to rock in the 70's  and has added country to his list of talents. His humor and "unusual" dance moves keep his audiences coming back for more. Wild and woolly with Steppenwolf, smooth and soulful with Percy Sledge, proud and inspirational with "God Bless the USA" Cross has the audience wondering what will come next. Sometimes it's even a visit by Elvis. He has a unique blend of talent that you won't soon forget.
